Tour Description
In this tour, we would like to offer you a tour to the different cities of the Atlantic Iparralde coast.
Firstly, we will drive to Bayonne, where our guide will lead you through the streets of the old town. You will be able to observe the cathedral, the citadel or some of the most beautiful and magnificent buildings. During the visit, you will have the opportunity to visit a manufacturer of the well known ‘Jambon de Bayonne’ or a typical basque chocolate manufacturer, where we will get an explanation of the products and at the same time have the option to taste some of their products.
Next stop will be the fantastic town of Biarritz, where we take you for a walk through the glamorous city. You will see the magnificent beaches like Cote des Basques or Grand Plage, or the Vieux Port (Old Port), where the Empress Maria Eugenia of Montijo, spent partly her holydays. She drew the attention of the European aristocracy, which also started to spend their vacation there. At this time Biarritz developed to a city of high importance.
You will walk towards the Casino or the Hotel de Paris, where Napoleon and the Empress Maria Eugenia of Montijo lived during their stays in the city.
On the way to Saint Jean de Luz, we will stop in Guethary and take a walk in this beautiful coastal whaling town. Then we will continue to Saint Jean de Luz, for a walking tour visiting its streets, full of fashion shops and the church, which in 1660, was witness of the marriage of Louis XIV and Maria Theresa of Spain.
On the way to San Sebastian, we will take the spectacular coastal road between Socoa and Hendaye. From there, you will be able to enjoy one of the best views of the endless sea and wild cliffs.
At around 5 pm, you will arrive back at your hotel.

In Lourdes, he showed us around all the holy and tourist sites including the Grotto, the three Basilicas and spectacular views of the Pyrenees and Lourdes from the top of the Funiculaire du Pic du Jer.
