Tour Description
On this tour, we would like to give you the opportunity to hike the Jaizkibel mountain, visit a Txakolli winery and visit the streets of the beautiful city of Hondarribia.
We will leave San Sebastian and drive towards the city of Hondarribia. We will park our car near the Jaizkibel mountain and a pleasant and easy 3 hour hike that will take us over the hill and the towers. We will see the Church of the Virgin Guadulupe, patron of Hondarribia and the inhabitants of Hondarribi. At any time, you will be able to enjoy a beautiful view of the Bay of Txingudi or Ocean.
To recover from the hike, you will be taken to a winery where you can visit the vineyards and get an explanation of the production process of this particular wine. Two different wines are to be tasted and you can enjoy an aperitif or a meal (price of the meal is not included in the tour price)
In the afternoon, we will drive you to Hondarribia and we will make a walking tour from the old town to the marina. The walls of this ancient city, hide thousands of stories. Due to its strategic position, Hondarribia was besieged several times by the French troops. You will have the opportunity to visit the old town or the marina district.
In the marina quarter, the fishermen quarter, you will see the houses painted in different colors or at one of the bars you can taste and enjoy some of the delicious and unique tapas.
Here we will end our tour and drive back to San Sebastian, where we will finish the tour.
